Our Mission

a group of people putting their hands together

Our Mission is to provide young, overlooked professionals with the skills, information, and relationships, necessary to generate positive career outcomes. We envision creating a world where underrepresented communities have equitable access to prosperous economic opportunities.

At MilleniVision, we strive to challenge the current nature of our workforce and economy, by ensuring that all young professionals (Millennials + Gen Z) are well equipped throughout their career endeavors.

Acknowledging the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Digital Revolution), it is evident that the workforce landscape is rapidly changing and we refuse to allow underserved populations to get left behind. Through MilleniVision, young professionals gain clarity in who they are, where their interests lie, and exactly how they are going to crush their goals by interacting with the sources that will guide them there. We are building the FUTURE OF WORK.

Our Story

"
“MilleniVision was birthed as “UNFINISHED BUSINESS” for a young visionary itching to end the “career-frustration pandemic” plaguing young rising professionals, globally.”
"

Inspired by her journey becoming the first African-American Women (& 2nd Woman) Student Government President at the University at Albany, Founder Jerlisa Fontaine created MilleniVision as her “post-grad” solution to furthering her work in the career & professional development space. Fontaine was tired of hearing people becoming “the first” of anything and knew that it was time to normalize the success of those who have traditionally been deprived of it.

This meant fighting for those who:

1. Attend non-target schools
2. Identify as Black & LatinX; BIPOC
3. Identify as Women

In 2018, MilleniVision started as an events platform that prepared professionals to take control over their career goals by landing jobs, establishing mentorship, and more. Fast Forward to 2020, MilleniVision has grown into a Digital Media Career Platform where our global audience can now engage with more than just events; they can engage with articles, videos, podcasts, and more. By leveraging the power of media and technology, Jerlisa and her amazing team look forward to sculpting a new way for professionals to connect, learn, and gain opportunity along their career journey.
